Summary:

A victorious Maki reunites with Noritoshi and offers him advice regarding his similar family situation. Meanwhile, strange alliances form in Tokyo Colony No. 1 when Megumi wakes up two days later.

Plot:

After defeating Naoya, Maki returns to check on Noritoshi. He lies injured on the ground, but alive and still conscious. Noritoshi asks Maki if she won and she credits the others for winning. Noritoshi asks about their condition and Maki tells him that they are in bad shape just like him.

Maki points out that Noritoshi acted differently, revealing that he feels unimportant due to his exclusion from the Kamo clan, as well as his relationship with his mother. Maki urges Noritoshi to talk to his mother again, revealing that she killed hers before they had a chance to talk properly. He tells Noritoshi not to make the same mistake as he helps him get to safety.

Elsewhere, Noritoshi's mother tells her family. She gave Noritoshi a forbidden name, hoping it would bring him back to her. Her younger child asks if Noritoshi is good, and the mother assures them that he is simply because he is her son.

In Tokyo Colony No. 1, Hana Kurusu greets Megumi after she wakes up from a two-day slumber. Yuji and Takaba also greet him. Takaba is able to return the merchandise from the store because the city's power grid is still functional. Megumi uses the bathroom and takes a bath before learning how Yuji met Hana and Takaba. Yuji happened upon Takaba's explosive fight with Hazenoki, and they worked together to find Megumi. They found Megumi being carried away by Hana while he was unconscious. Megumi questions the caution of everyone involved and then amends her statement to thank everyone for their help.

Yuji shows Megumi that with the help of their allies, their group has accumulated a total of 359 points, more than enough to save Tsumiki. Megumi asks for permission to use Hana and Takaba's points before moving on to more questions. He tells Hana that they were looking for an Angel who was supposed to be in Tokyo Colony #2. He questions if Hana is an Angel and why a rival player would help him. Someone answers that they are an Angel, but it's not exactly Hana.

A mouth grows on Hana's face and she speaks so Megumi doesn't bother the girl with so many questions. Megumi and Takaba are surprised, but Yuji simply notes that Hana is similar to him. Angel almost reveals why Hana helped Megumi, but the girl covers her mouth before they get the chance. The mouth reappears on Hana's hand, revealing that their cursed technique can dissolve barriers. This allowed Hana to leave Colony #2 as most of the players there had already been destroyed by Hajime Kashimo. Megumi questions why Angel is looking for players, and they reveal that all incarnated players are their targets for elimination. Angel believes that incarnation is bad because it suppresses the vessel's consciousness and chooses to exist symbiotically with Hana.

Megumi asks Angel if their ability to negate techniques can return possessed players to normal. The simple answer is no, as the Angel explains that the process will kill rather than save the person, as the cursed object has fused to their body. The angel asks if this is what the boys were looking for, but Megumi clarifies that they need the angel to remove the seal from the Prison Realm. Angel states that it should be within their means, much to Yuji and Megumi's delight. Megumi pauses for a moment, thinking about how things are moving too smoothly.

Angel suggests they help Megumi and Yuji in exchange for an initial favor. Megumi asks if Angel wants them to help kill all the incarnate players, but Angel only wants to take out one, Dishonored. Just then, Sukuna pulls Yuji's consciousness into his innate domain, revealing him to be Dishonored.
